True Style Interview- Part II

Our second interview is with Mitch Ciohon, who works as the executive chef at Beta by Sabor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mitch is an old friend who is delightfully eccentric and has an inborn sense of style. Here is what Mitch had to say:

How would you define true style?

I am my own man ….I do what I want and I define it myself. I don’t care what people think- I do what makes me happy, comfortable, and feels good . And I guess I have to think it looks cool.

How would you describe your style in two words?

Contemporary pirate

What influences your style; where do you draw inspiration from?

I feel like I get it a little bit from everywhere and everything around me. I think that I get that from being a creative chef …everything affects me.  Movies, magazines, TV, Internet, friends, enemies, my mom, dad, brother, wife, and places I go.   It’s all an ongoing life evolution and I feel like the way you feel, the way you change year to year and day to day, is reflected in what you do, where you go, who you go with,  and also in the way you dress and compose yourself. You know what they say, you can tell a lot about a man by the shoes on his feet…….. And whatever the fuck else he is wearing!

Thanks Mitch!

A Thing of Beauty

Beautiful signed Napier posts featuring red jewel-like center and chain border. These gold-tone posts were made in the 1990s, and can be purchased in the Fine & Mellow store.  These earrings definitely give us a 1990s Gianni Versace feel.

A cheap suit looks cheap even when it’s new; a good one looks great even when it’s old.
